PURPOSE
PURPOSE
The film looks at what hip hop means to the people who live it: a form of self-expression, a place to find belonging and a culture passed between generations. I wanted to make space for their stories, exploring the community’s roots in Glasgow, its ongoing challenges and its hopes for greater recognition.

MY CONTRIBUTION
MY CONTRIBUTION
I filmed and edited the documentary, interviewing artists and dancers in Glasgow and capturing their movement on camera. Through these conversations, I gathered personal stories about the scene’s history, identity and sense of community, then shaped them into a narrative that brought the contributors’ voices and the energy of their dancing together.
